Tina Weaver, Head Coach

Tina Weaver took the helm of the Lady Saints soccer program in the spring of 2007. Weaver joined the Limestone staff in the summer of 2006 and served as the assistant coach for the Lady Saints during the fall 2006 season.

“I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to lead this team,” continued Weaver. “The girls truly pour their hearts and souls into this program and I am committed to its growing success.”

Weaver came to Limestone from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisc., where she served as the women’s soccer assistant coach and as assistant strength and conditioning coach. Weaver assisted with practice plans and overall coaching duties on the soccer field. Last season, nine of the players were named All-Conference by the Lake Michigan Conference as the team clinched the conference championship. The squad also received a berth to the NCAA Tournament. The Muskies finished the season with an impressive 14-5-2 overall record and were 6-1-1 in conference play.

She had an outstanding four-year playing career at Western Carolina from 2000-2003 as the Catamounts’ goalkeeper. She finished her senior season ranked 27th in the nation with 7.4 saves per game and is fourth all-time in the Southern Conference with a 1.11 career goals against average. She holds WCU records with her GAA and a career saves percentage of .821.

Weaver holds a master's of business administration from Lakeland College. She holds a USSF “C” License.


 

Liz Eichhorn, Assistant Coach

Liz Eichhorn was named an assistant coach in the summer of 2007. S native of Fort Collins, Colo., she was the Lady Saints’ starting goalkeeper from 2004-2006. She was a three-time All-Conference honoree, and was named to the NSCAA/adidas All-Southeast Region team following her senior season. Eichhorn holds the Limestone school record with six shutouts in a season and season goals against average with 0.77, both achieved during the fall of 2006.

“Liz has a great passion for the game of soccer and for Limestone College,” pointed out Weaver. “As a coach, she is willing to devote herself to this team and towards our ultimate goal of the winning the conference championship. I am confident in her abilities and am very excited to be working with her.”

Eichhorn received her degree in psychology from the College. She holds a regional goalkeeper diploma.

 

Kristina Gaylord, Student Assistant Coach

Kristina Gaylord is in her first season as a student assistant coach for the Lady Saints. She competed with Limestone for two seasons at midfield, playing in every game during her junior and senior seasons. Before attending Limestone, Gaylord was a team captain at Monroe Community College as she led the team to back-to-back Region Champioships and the 2004 JUCO National Championship with a record of 22-0-1.
