LADY SAINTS SHUTDOWN COKER, 2-0

HARTSVILLE, S.C.—The Lady Saints soccer team recorded a 2-0 shutout against Coker College on Wednesday night. Limestone climbs to 2-3 in Conference Carolinas play and 3-7 overall.

Both Lady Saints goals came in the first half. Limestone scored about 30 minutes into the game. Vanessa Jarrett (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) got a layoff pass from Hope Lee (Fredericksburg, Va.) to score her first career goal. Roughly five minutes later, one of the Saints played a long ball to Madi Dulisse (Burlington, Wisc.) on a breakaway opportunity. Dulisse finished for her fourth goal of the year.

Limestone was very strong defensively. Goalkeeper Diane Boyce (Toccoa, Ga.) played the entire 90 minutes to earn the shutout.

The Lady Saints host Barton College on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Saints Field in Gaffney, S.C.
