LADY SAINTS GOLF 4TH AT CONFERENCE CAROLINAS CHAMPIONSHIP |
CLEMMONS, N.C.—The Limestone College women’s golf team is fourth following the first round of the Conference Carolinas tournament. The Lady Saints posted a score of 353 on the opening day of competition. The six-team tournament is being played at the par-71 Salem Glen Golf and Country Club and is hosted by Barton College. Limestone’s Katie Clayton carded 82 and is in eighth place. Miranda Van Arsdale is tied for 14th (87), and Ansley Smith is 20th (90). Samantha Allison is tied for 23rd (94). Kristen Michela is 32nd (137). Pfeiffer University leads the field with a score of 315, followed by Belmont Abbey (321), and Anderson University (343). Queens is fifth (362), and Mount Olive is sixth (368). Limestone will continue competition at the 2008 Conference Carolinas Championship on Monday.
