TENNIS INKS ANOTHER RECRUIT

Limestone College Head Tennis Coach Keith Turner has announced that Miguel Angel Lopez Zuniga will play for the Saints during the upcoming season. Zuniga, originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, is a transfer from Graceland College in Iowa.

At Graceland, Zuniga helped his team to the conference and regional championship last season. The team also advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA national tournament. Zuniga posted a 12-2 singles record and was ranked No. 34 in the NAIA singles rankings.

“I am excited to announce the signing of Miguel to the Limestone College men’s tennis team,” stated Turner. “He is a strong player with great junior tennis and college experience. I expect Miguel to be one of the top singles and doubles players next year. I believe that his experience of playing deep into the NAIA National Championships last year will be extremely helpful not only to Miguel’s success, but also to the team’s success.”

He is the son of Miguel Angel Lopez Guzman and Blanca Rosa Zuniga Card.
