LIMESTONE SWIMMERS GET 6 NATIONAL CUT TIMES AT BULLDOG INVITATIONAL

The Limestone College men's swim team recorded six NCAA National cut times at the Bulldog Invitational on March 1-2 in Athens, Ga. The last-chance meet was hosted by the University of Georgia at the Gabrielson Natatorium.

Matt Parsonage (Durban, South Africa) received an NCAA cut time in the 100 breast, while Zeljko Karaman (Split, Croatia) qualified for the 200 and 400 individual medley events. Anders Melin (Karlstad, Sweden) will compete in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly at the national championship. Craig Jordens (Cape Town, South Africa) earned a qualifying time in the 100 butterfly.

No team scoring was held. Individuals used the meet to automatically qualify for the NCAAs or improve their chances of making the field.

Limestone heads to the NCAA Division II National Championships on March 12-15 in Columbia, Mo.
