LIMESTONE’S TUOHY NAMED CONFERENCE CAROLINAS MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

THOMASVILLE, N.C.—Limestone College goalkeeper James Tuohy (Levittown, N.Y.) was named Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse defensive Player of Week, as released by the conference office on Wednesday.  This is the second straight week Tuohy has earned this honor.

Tuohy led a Limestone defense that only allowed five goals in its 14-5 win over Saint Leo University on March 11. He had 13 saves and 2 ground balls in the victory. Tuohy has started in all five games for the Saints, and is No. 3 in Division II with a 4.41 GAA and a .677 save percentage. He has 88 saves so far in 2008.
