SAINTS GOLF FINISHES 9TH AT CONFERENCE CAROLINAS CHAMPIONSHIP |
CLEMMONS, N.C.—The Limestone College men’s golf team finished ninth at the ten-team Conference Carolinas tournament on Tuesday at the par-71 Salem Glen Golf and Country Club. Limestone had a three-round score of 929 (310-310-309). Belmont Abbey shot a 27-over-par score of 879 to win the tournament. Barton was second (881), while Anderson was third (883). Coker was fourth (884), followed by Pfeiffer (894), Queens (901), Mount Olive (911), and St. Andrews (927). Lees-McRae was 10th (998). Kyle Scruggs led Limestone with a score of 221 (74-72-75) to tie for 12th place. Brad Williams was 28th (80-76-65 231), Drew Sloan was 39th (80-80-79 239), while Craig Parris tied for 41st (77-82-83 242). Kyle Parker tied for 45th (79-84-80 243).
