LIMESTONE TAKES 3RD AT BMW COLLEGIATE |
TIGERVILLE, S.C.—The Limestone College men’s golf team scored 619 (312-307) to take third in the 10-team BMW Collegiate on Tuesday. The Saints’ Brad Williams and Kyle Parker both finished in the top 10. The tournament, hosted by North Greenville University, was held at the par-72 Cherokee Valley Golf Club. Williams took sixth with a two-round score of 148 (73-75), while Parker was eighth (76-74 150). Drew Sloan tied for 25th (81-78 159), and Craig Parris tied for 35th (82-80 176). Chris Etheredge finished 49th (90-86 176). Anderson University shot a second-round 301 to win the tournament. The Trojans finished with a two-round total of 601. The University of Mobile finished second, 11 shots off the lead with a 617. Limestone College (619), host North Greenville University (620), and Spartanburg Methodist College (623) rounded out the top five. Steven Brame of Cape Fear Community College held on to win the individual honors with a two-round total of 140. Anderson’s Adam Sheriff (143) and Kurt Owings (146) finished second and third respectively. Matt Parzaile and Chad Skinner finished out the top five in a tie for fourth place at 147.
