LIMESTONE’S WATKINS AND SODEN RANKED NO. 1 IN NATION IN TRIPLES |
Limestone College baseball players Zach Watkins (Albany, Ga.) and Phillip Soden (Inman, S.C.) are both ranked No. 1 in the nation in triples as each player recorded nine during the 2008 season, according to the latest NCAA Division II statistical rankings. Pitcher Brock White (Gaffney, S.C.) is 21st in NCAA Division II with his seven saves this spring. Soden also ranks 14th in sacrifice flies with seven. Watkins and Soden are also tied for first place in the Limestone record books for most triples in a single season. |
