NO. 2 LIMESTONE VS. SETON HILL

BROOKVILLE, N.Y.—The No. 2 Limestone College women’s lacrosse team defeated Seton Hill 22-1 on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Saints set a new program record for most wins in a season with today’s victory as Limestone’s record climbs to 17-1. Seton Hill falls to 4-11.

Kelly Lickert (Penn Yan, N.Y.) led Limestone with eight points from three goals and five assists. Melissa Howard (Ferndale, Md.) had seven points from one goal and six assists. Lauryn Wise (Pasadena, Md.) tallied four goals. Eleven more players scored for the victory.

Lady Saint goalkeeper Erin Cavanaugh (Ellicott City, Md.) had three saves in the first half. Michaela Reynolds (Columbia, Md) had one save in the second period. Marissa Pesce (West Babylon, N.Y.) and Katie Ilott (Whitby, Ontario, Canada) each had three draw controls

Janette Kristich scored Seton Hill’s lone goal. Goalkeeper Julie Woodburn posted 13 saves.

The NCAA Division II tournament selection show will be broadcast on CSTV on Sunday, May 4 at 9 p.m.
