LIMESTONE WRESTLING TAKES 1ST AT OHIO NORTHERN TOURNAMENT; 3 SAINTS GET INDIVIDUAL WINS

ADA, Ohio—The No. 15-ranked Limestone College wrestling team took first at the 18-team Ohio Northern Tournament on Saturday. The Saints finished ahead of No. 12 Indianapolis and No. 16 Findlay in today’s competition.

Limestone won the tournament with 128.5 points, West Liberty State (W.Va.) was second with 125 points and Heidelberg was third with 97 points.

Three Saints took home individual titles. Dan Scanlan (Leesburg, Va.) won the 184-pound division, Casey Bradley (Muncie, Ind.) won at 165 lbs., and David Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) was champion at 197 lbs. Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C.) took second among the heavyweights, and Mikel Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) finished fourth at 157-pounds. Brent Clausing (Miamisburg, Ohio) finished fifth in the 133-pound weight class.

Limestone hosts the Limestone Duals on Tuesday, January 1 at 10 a.m. at the Timken Centers. Teams competing include Limestone, King, Darton, Belmont Abbey, and Carson-Newman.
