LIMESTONE WRESTLING HOSTS UNC-PEMBROKE AND WEST LIBERTY IN SATURDAY’S HOME OPENER |
UNC-Pembroke is rated eighth in the December regional rankings, while West Liberty is seventh. Six Saints are ranked in the region. Ian Barker (Summerville, S.C.) is third in the 125-pound weight class, while Brent Clausing (Miamisburg, Ohio) is fifth at 133 lbs. Mikel Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) is second in the 157-pound division. Dan Scanlan (Leesburg, Va.) is fourth in the 197-pound weight class, and Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C.) ranks second among the region’s heavyweights. |

GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Saints wrestling team will host the University of North Carolina-Pembroke and West Liberty State in its home opener on Saturday at the Timken Center. The first match is slated for 11 a.m. The Saints, who are off to a 5-0 start, are currently ranked fourth in the NCAA Division II East Region and were No. 17 in the preseason national poll.
