SAINT WRESTLERS COMPETE AT UNIVERSITY NATIONALS |
Several Limestone College wrestlers competed in the Freestyle and Greco Roman events at the University National held on April 12-13 in Akron, Ohio. The Saints’ Dusty Leutz (Naples, Fla.) earned All-American honors for the second year in a row. The tournament was held at the Athletic Field House at the University of Akron. Leutz finished eighth at 66 kilos (145 ½ lbs.) to be named an All-American in the Greco-Roman event. Matt Hall (Hamptonville, N.C./55 kilos/121 lbs.) posted a 2-2 record in the freestyle event. John Harper (Walhalla, S.C./63 kilos/132 lbs.) and Josh Mummert (West Chester, S.C./96 kilos/211 lbs.) competed in boththe freestyle and Greco-Roman categories. Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C.) went 2-2 at 96 kilos (211 lbs.) in the freestyle event. |
