NO. 19 LIMESTONE WRESTLING EDGED BY MERCYHURST 18-16; LIMESTONE LOSES TO NO. 12 GANNON 26-9 |
GANNON, Pa.-- The No. 19 Limestone wrestling team was edged by Mercyhurst, 18-16, and lost to No. 12 Gannon, 26-9, on Saturday afternoon. Limestone falls to 15-4-1 this season with the loss. In the Saints match against Mercyhurst, Limestone’s Brent Clausing (Miamisburg, Ohio) picked up a 6-4 victory at 141-pounds. Mikel Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) won a 9-6 decision at 157 pounds. Joby Schreckhise (Grottoes, Va.) won 13-3 major decision in the 174-pound weight class. No. 3 Dan Scanlan (Leesburg, Va.) won the 184-pound division with an 8-3 decision, and Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C.) defeated his heavyweight opponent 5-2. Three Saints recorded wins against No. 12 Gannon. Casey Bradley (Muncie, Ind.) got a 5-3 win at 165-pounds. Scanlan picked up a 7-3 decision in the 184-pound weight class, and Moss edged his opponent in the heavyweight division.
