SAINTS HOLDING ONTO 5TH PLACE AT MIDWEST INVITATIONAL |
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—The Limestone College wrestlers held onto fifth place among the 21 competing teams after the opening two rounds of the Midwest Invitational on Friday. The two-day tournament is hosted by the University of Indianapolis. The No. 15-ranked Saints are up against some tough competition, including eight nationally ranked NCAA Division II squads: No. 4 Adams State, No. 10 Ashland, No. 12 University of Indianapolis, No. 9 Newberry, No. 19 University of Wisconsin-Parkside, No. 19 Central Missouri, No. 16 Findlay, and NO. 20 Gannon and St. Cloud State. Adams State is first, as Ashland University is second and the University of Indianapolis is third. Gannon University is fourth. Competition at the Midwest Classic will conclude tomorrow. Matches are slated to begin at 10 a.m. |
