LIMESTONE WOMEN’S GOLF FINISHES 15TH AT KIAWAH INTERCOLLEGIATE |
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C.—The Lady Saints golf team finished 15th in the 18-team Kiawah Intercollegiate on Sunday with a two-round score of 709 (358-351). The tournament, hosted by Tusculum College, was held at the par-72, 5800-yard Cougar Point Golf Course. Florida Southern scored 599 to win the event. Nova Southeastern was second, Rollins took third, while Lynn and West Florida rounded out the top 5. Katie Clayton (Lyman, S.C.) was Limestone’ top finisher as she carded 166 to tie for 35th. Ansley Smith (Blythewood, S.C.) and Samantha Allison (Jeanette, Pa.) tied for 62nd with a final score of 177. Miranda Van Arsdale was 74th (189), and Sarah Milner (Greenville, S.C.) was 85th (205). Limestone hosts the Upstate Classic in Gaffney, S.C., on March 1-3.
