SWIMMERS REPORT ON DAY 4 OF FLORIDA TRIP |
Because we had our invitational meet this afternoon, we were able to sleep in before heading out to the pool. We left for the pool around 11:30 to warm up. We warmed up for about an hour and then were free to go grab some lunch before the meet started. Everyone got really pumped up about seeing how well we could stand up to Division I and Division II teams that we normally don’t get to swim against. Our goal was to cheer as loud as we could for every person swimming. Everyone swam really well, but a few of the highlights included several NCAA cuts and many top 3 finishes. We had so much fun getting to know the other teams and growing closer as a team. After the meet, we all went back to the hotel and grabbed some dinner before heading back to the pool for more practice. We had a lot of fun racing each other and recovering from our meet. Tomorrow we will have two more intense practices before we get ready to leave. |
