LIMESTONE MEN’S LACROSSE RELEASES SPRING 2008 SCHEDULE

GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College men’s lacrosse team has released its spring 2008 schedule. The Saints, ranked No. 4 in Inside Lacrosse’s Faceoff Yearbook’s NCAA Division II preseason poll, will face three other top 10 teams as they look to secure their ninth straight NCAA tournament appearance.

The Saints face their first nationally-ranked opponent on March 8 as No. 8 Adelphi travels to Gaffney for a non-conference contest at Saints Field. Limestone will hit the road to play No. 3 Mercyhurst in Erie, Pa., on March 16, and will travel to face conference-rival No. 9 St. Andrews on April 5 in Laurinburg, N.C.

Limestone will also host the Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse tournament on April 18 and 20. Last season the Saints won their ninth straight tournament championship and will look to bring that number up to 10.
