LIMESTONE’S PRAGER AND VAUGHN NAMED CONFERENCE CAROLINAS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

THOMASVILLE, N.C.—Limestone College’s Teddy Prager (Seaford, N.Y.) and AJ Vaughn (Skaneateles, N.Y.) were named Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse players of the week as released by the league office on Wednesday. These Saints played major roles in their team’s 2-0 record last week.

Prager earned Defensive Player of the week honors after he helped Limestone to wins last week over Mars Hill and Pfeiffer. He had three ground balls and an assist versus Mars Hill, and had a game-high four caused turnovers in the Saints' 15-7 conference win over Pfeiffer on Saturday. He also had five ground balls against the Falcons. Prager has played in all 10 games with 34 ground balls, 5 caused turnovers, 2 goals, and 6 assists.

This is the second time this year that Vaughn has received the Offensive Player of the Week award. He led the Saints with nine goals and three assists last week. He scored three goals and tallied two assists against Mars Hill. Despite playing with an injury on Saturday, he led the Saints with six goals, one assist, and seven points. Vaughn has 29 goals and 12 assists for 41 points this season.
