SAINTS GOLF 9TH AFTER 2 ROUNDS OF CONFERENCE CAROLINAS TOURNAMENT |
CLEMMONS, N.C.—The Limestone College men’s golf team has a two-round score of 620 (310-310) to be in ninth place at the 2008 Conference Carolinas Championship The ten-team tournament is being played at the par-71 Salem Glen Golf and Country Club and is hosted by Barton College. Kyle Scruggs leads Limestone with a score of 146 (74-72)and is tied for 13th. Brad Williams is 31st (80-76 156), Craig Parris is tied for 39th (77-82 159), and Drew Sloan is 42nd (80-80 160). Kyle Parker is tied for 45th (79-84 163). Pfeiffer leads the field with a 17-over-par score of 585. Belmont Abbey and Barton are tied for second with 586, while Coker and Anderson round out the top five. The Cobras and Trojans both post a two-day score of 588. Mount Olive is sixth (605), followed by Queens (606), St. Andrews (610), Limestone, and Lees-McRae (669). Limestone will conclude competition at the 2008 Conference Carolinas Championship on Tuesday.
