LIMESTONE’S FRANKLIN NAMED CONFERENCE CAROLINAS MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK |
Franklin, a 6-foot 5-inch center, recorded 24 points and 10 rebounds against Erskine on February 13 and scored 19 points and posted 11 boards against St. Andrews on Saturday. He shot 70% from the field (14-20) and was 71.4% in free-throws (15-21). He leads the Saints with 130 rebounds this year, and has scored 223 points. Limestone (7-15 overall/4-12 Conference Carolinas) travels to Banner Elk, N.C., to face Lees-McRae on Wednesday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m. |

THOMASVILLE, N.C.—Limestone College senior Andrae Franklin (Fort Pierce, Fla.) was named Conference Carolinas men’s basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday. He led the Saints to a 2-0 record last week with wins against Erskine and St. Andrews.
