SAINTS BASEBALL ANNOUNCES 2008 CAPTAINS |

The Limestone College baseball team has announced its spring 2008 captains: Kyle Brewer, Phillip Soden, and Brian Baugher. All three players are seniors at the College. “These three young men were not selected based on stats,” said Saints Head Coach Chico Lombardo. “They earned this honor through their character and dedication to the program. That’s the reason we’re looking forward to them leading our ball club in 2008.” Brewer is a senior catcher from Gruetli-Laager, Tenn. Soden hails from Inman, S.C., and plays at first base. Baugher is a pitcher from Frederick, Md. Limestone opens its 20th anniversary season on Saturday, February 2 at Saints Field in Gaffney, S.C. First pitch is slated for 1p.m. |
