Brandon Scott, Head Coach

Brandon Scott was named Limestone College's Head Men's Basketball Coach in October of 2007 after serving as an assistant for the Saints during the 2006-07 season.

Scott was a four-year letterman for Limestone from 1995-99 and returned to the College after coaching high school basketball for the last eight years. His experience as a high school coach in Florida makes him a valuable asset to Limestone’s basketball program.

From 2004-06, Scott taught and coached at Leesburg High School in Leesburg, Fla. As the varsity team’s head coach, he guided the squad to an 18-8 record in 2005-06 and an appearance in the district semifinals, where the squad lost to the eventual state champion by only five points. During the 2004-05 season, Scott led the team to a first-place finish in the district and a trip to the Sweet 16 of the state tournament, while finishing the year with an impressive 19-10 record.

Before becoming the head coach for Leesburg High School’s varsity squad, Scott was the head junior varsity coach and an assistant for the varsity team from 2001-04. From 2000-01, he was responsible for the freshman team at Forest High School and had bench responsibilities during varsity games. He also served as an assistant varsity basketball coach from 1999-2000 at North Henderson High School in Hendersonville, N.C.
