SPARTANBURG, S.C.— The Limestone College women's cross country team took sixth at the 12-team Conference Carolinas Championship on Saturday as the men finished seventh of nine. The event was hosted by Converse College. Three Saints runners earned All-Conference honors at the event: Alex Bonn (Marysville, Wash.), Molly Reichwald (Atlanta, Ga.), and Matt Conant (Norwich, N.Y.) Lees-McRae won the women's race, as Anderson took second and Pfeiffer was third. Converse was fourth and St. Andrews was fifth. In the men's event, Queens took first as Lees-McRae was second. Anderson was third, St. Andrews was fourth, and Pfeiffer was fifth. Bonn was the Lady Saints’ top finisher as she took fifth and earned First Team All-Conference Carolinas honors. Reichwald finished 12th for Honorable Mention All-Conference. Lauren Barker (Summerville, S.C.) was 29th, Jonelle Jackson (Gaffney, S.C.) was 46th, Kelly Davidson (Kingston, Tenn.) placed 55th, while Melissa Riesett (Annapolis, Md.) was 56th and Heather Nicholson (Union, S.C.) was 73rd. Conant led the Saints with his seventh-place finish and received Second Team All-Conference honors.Robert Anderson (Erie, Pa.) finished 36th, Zach McKeone (Marietta, Ga.) was 39th, Kevin Eagle (Gaffney, S.C.) placed 43rd, and Tres Valentino (Bluffton, S.C.) was 48th. Matt Hall finished 51st, Curtis Morrison (Shelby, N.C.) was 58th, Nathan Carmack (Miamisburg, Pa.) was 62nd, John Harper (Walhalla, S.C.) was 65th, Matt Bishop (Gaffney, S.C.) was 66th, and Aaron Watkins (Blythewood, S.C.) was 69th. Brian Makupson (Gaffney, S.C.) finished 79th and Garrett Knapik (West Springfield, Mass.) was 80th.
