| LIMESTONE’S CONANT NAMED CONFERENCE CAROLINAS RUNNER OF THE WEEK |
THOMASVILLE, N.C.-- Limestone College’s Matt Conant (Norwich, N.Y.) was selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas’ men's cross country Runner of the Week during week number four of the 2007 season. Conant posted his best 8K time this year at the Limestone Invitational at 26:48. He added his second runner of the week award this year by finishing first among the 72 runners who participated. He has placed in the top ten in all four races this fall while posting the top time of any Saint runner. The junior from Norwich, N.Y. helped lead the Saints to a fifth place finish in the eight-team invitational. |
