| LIMESTONE’S MATT CONANT NAMED CONFERENCE CAROLINAS RUNNER OF THE WEEK |
THOMASVILLE, N.C.—Limestone College junior Matt Conant (Norwich, N.Y.) was named Conference Carolinas men’s cross country Runner of the Week, as released by the league office on Wednesday. Conant had a time of 27:37 to place second in his first race as a Saint at the Lander Invitational. He finished just seconds behind the race winner from Spartanburg Methodist College. He was the Saints’ only runner to finish in the top 10 of the 54-runner field Limestone’s men’s and women’s cross country teams compete at the Eye Opener on Saturday, September 8 in Spartanburg, S.C. The women’s race begins at 8 a.m. with the men’s event to follow at 8:30 a.m. |
