LIMESTONE TO HOST FIRST ANNUAL CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

**REGISTRATION FOR COLLEGE TEAMS HAS CLOSED. Registration for High School teams is still open.**

GAFFNEY, S.C.- Limestone College will host the First Annual Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, September 23 at Sunny Slope Farms in Gaffney. The event is open to collegiate and high school teams.

Men’s and women’s teams will be allowed an unlimited number of runners. Team scores will be computed by totaling the top five runners finish positions on each team. The number six and seven runners count as pushers and all other finishers will be displaced. Men will run an 8k while the women will run a 5k on the course which is primarily grass, dirt trails, and hilly terrain.

Driving North on I-85- Take exit 87 in SC. At four-way stop sign take a left. Take the next left like you are getting back onto I-85. Take the next hard right onto Frontage road. Go about 2 miles until you see signs for Event Parking. Take a right into the lot.

Driving South on I-85- Take exit 87 in SC. At stop sign continue straight. Take the next hard right onto Frontage road. Go about 2 miles until you see signs for Event Parking. Take a right into the lot.
