CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.-- The Saints wrestling squad competed at the Campbellsville tri-match on Saturday. The team fell to Campbellsville University, 27-12. Limestone also lost to the University of the Cumberlands, 36-12. The Saints dual record is even at 2-2. Limestone’s first match of the day was against the University of the Cumberlands (NAIA). Dan Scanlan (Leesburg, Va.) got the Saints off to a good start by winning the 184-pound weight class with a pin against his opponent. However, Limestone would only win one other contest, as Mike Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) got a pin against Cumberland’s Josh Boggs in the 157-pound division. The Saints took the 184-pound weight class against Campbellsville University after a forfeit, but struggled throughout the contest. Todd Neptune (New Concord, Ohio). Neptune had one escape and two take downs in the first period, followed by two more takedowns in the second, and a pair of take downs in the third plus a riding time of 1:56 for the win. Limestone faces a big test as it travels to Ada, Ohio, this weekend for the Ohio Northern Tourney on December 9. University of the Cumberlands 38, Limestone 12
