EIGHT SAINTS WRESTLERS INCLUDED IN PRE-SEASON EAST REGIONAL RANKINGS; LIMESTONE RATED AT NO. 3 |
Limestone College has eight wrestlers included in the pre-season East Regional Rankings while the Saints team is rated No. 3 in the region. This is the most Limestone wrestlers ever to be included in the regional rankings and is the highest Limestone has ever been ranked as a team. Dan Scanlan (Leesburg, Va./184 lbs.) and Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C./285 lbs.) are both ranked second in their respective weight classes. Ian Barker (Summerville, S.C.) is No. 4 in the 125-pound weight class, Brent Clausing (Miamisburg, Ohio) is No. 4 in the 133-pound division, and Dustin Baynes (Liberty Twp., Ohio) is No. 4 in the 149-pound class. Mike Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) is No. 3 in the 157-pound division. Joby Schreckhise (Grottoes, Va.) is No. 5 in the 174-pound class, while Dave Bush (Lakewood, N.Y.) is No. 5 in the 197-pound class. The University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown is the top ranked team in the East Region, as Newberry College is second. Mercyhurst is fourth while Gannon is fifth. Limestone begins its season on Saturday, November 10 as the Saints travel to Pembroke, N.C., for the Braves Classic at 8:30 a.m. |
