MOSS LOSES IN CONSOLATION ROUND OF NCAA DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIPS

KEARNEY, Neb.— Limestone College heavyweight Trey Moss (Red Bank, S.C.) was defeated in consolation round of the 2007 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championship hosted by the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  Dan Goodson of Upper Iowa edged Moss, 1-0, to advance to the quarterfinals of the wrestleback.

Moss lost his first match to Indianapolis’ Jose Navarre, the No. 5-ranked heavyweight in the country, by a 6-3 decision. Moss faced Ray O’Connor of Augustana in the first consolation round and defeated O’Connor 6-2. to advance to face Goodson.
