NO. 7 LIMESTONE WOMEN’S LACROSSE GETS 8-7 WIN OVER NO. 9 QUEENS

CHARLOTTE, N.C.—The No. 7-ranked Limestone College women’s lacrosse team picked up a crucial 8-7 win over No. 9 Queens University on Friday night in Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference action. Limestone improves to 4-1 in the conference (8-2 overall) as the Royals slip to 3-2 in the CVAC (6-4 overall).

Lauryn Wise (Pasadena, Md.) led Limestone with four goals, while Marissa Pesce (West Babylon, N.Y.) tallied three goals and an assist. Danielle Tosky (Bluffton, S.C.) also scored in the Lady Saints’ win.

Limestone travels to Belmont, N.C., to face Belmont Abbey on Wednesday, March 28 at 3 p.m.
