LADY SAINTS LACROSSE RANKED NO. 4 IN IWLCA POLL

The Limestone College Lady Saints lacrosse team is ranked No. 4 in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Preseason poll released on February 6. Defending national champion Adelphi topped the list at No. 1, with C.W. Post and West Chester rounding out the top three.

Pfeiffer and Queens University also represented the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference in the rankings, with the Lady Falcons are rated No. 7 and the Royals are rated at No. 10.

The IWLCA weekly poll will begin on February 26.

The Lady Saints will begin their season on Saturday, February 10 as they travel to Laurinburg, N.C., to face CVAC-rival St. Andrews at 2 p.m. Limestone will return to Gaffney, S.C., for its first home match on Wednesday, February 21 against Lees-McRae at 3:30 p.m.
