LADY SAINTS GOLF FINISHES 13TH OF 18 AT AGNES McAMIS INVITATIONAL

GREENEVILLE, Tenn.—The Limestone College women’s golf team had a two-round score of 707 (343-364) to finish in 13th of the 18 teams at the 2006 Agnes McAmis Invitational hosted by Tusculum College at the par-72 Link Hills Country Club. Katie Clayton (Lyman, S.C.) was the Lady Saints top finisher as she shot 163 (79-84) to tie for 29th in the 100-golfer field.

Belmont University finished first with 619 (309-310), Newberry College was second (318-311 629), and Tusculum finished third (318-311 629). Belmont Abbey was fourth with 644 (326-318) and the University of Indianapolis was fifth (322-323 645).

Limestone’s Miranda Van Arsdale (Hendersonville, N.C.) took 72nd (89-90 179), Samantha Allison (Jeanette, Pa.) tied for 79th (89-93 182), and Sarah Milner (Greenville, S.C.) tied for 82nd (86-97 183).

Limestone competes at the CVAC Championship on April 22-24 at the Salem Glenn Golf Club in Clemmons, N.C.
