LADY SAINTS FINISH 6TH AT LADY BEAR INVITATIONAL; CLAYTON TIES FOR 4TH

DENVER, N.C.—The Limestone College women’s golf team finished in sixth place at the eighth annual Lady Bear Invitational hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne College at the par-72, 5819-yard Verdict Ridge Golf Club. Lady Saint Katie Clayton (Lyman, S.C.) had her fifth top-10 finish of the year as she tied for fourth after firing 154 (78-76).

Ferris State won the eight-team event after scoring 610, while USC Upstate was second (645). Wingate took third (673) as Catawba College (676) and Lenoir-Rhyne (706) took fourth and fifth, respectively.

Limestone’s Samantha Allison (Jeanette, Pa.) finished 26th (90-90-180), Ellie Hindman was 28th (87-94-181), and Miranda Van Arsdale (Hendersonville, N.C.) took 37th (99-96-195). Sarah Milner (Greenville, S.C.) was 43rd (106-103-209).

The Lady Saints travel to the Agnes McAmis Invitational in Greeneville, Tenn., on April 1-3.
