LIMESTONE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL BEGINS CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT ON MONDAY; SAINTS HEADED TO BELMONT ABBEY

THOMASVILLE, N.C.—The Limestone College women’s basketball team, seeded #5 in the upcoming Conference Carolinas tournament, will play #4 Belmont Abbey in the first round of the competition on Monday, as released by the league office on Saturday. The Saints will travel to Belmont, N.C., for a 7 p.m. tip-off on March 3.

Limestone suffered a 57-63 loss to the Crusaders at home in December, but defeated the Crusaders on January 26 with a 74-67 win in Belmont.

#1-seeded Anderson will host #8 Lees-McRae in the first round, while #2 Barton hosts #7 Pfeiffer. #3 Mount Olive will host #6 Queens on Monday evening.
