ANDERSON, S.C. – Limestone College’s Melissa Thomas was named to the All-Conference team, as announced at the Conference Carolinas banquet on Saturday. Thomas, a sophomore outside hitter from Easley S.C., was a dominate
force for the Saints this season averaging 4.42 kills per game, good
for second in the conference and third in hitting percentage (.364).
Thomas was named conference player of the week twice this season and
reached a career milestone as she surpassed her 1000th kill in just
two seasons with the Saints. Thomas also reached a career high 30
kills in the Saints win over Barton College earlier this season. She
helped the Saints to a 20-16 season finishing second in league action.
