SAINTS SWEEP CONVERSE

SPARTANBURG, SC –The Saints volleyball team defeated Conference Carolina foe Converse College 3-0 (33-31, 30-25, 30-27) tonight in Spartanburg. Melissa Thomas (Easley, SC) helped push the Saints to victory recording her eighth double-double of the season as she led all hitters with 20 kills and picked up 11 digs. The Saints advanced to 15-14 overall, 13-3 in conference play. Converse dropped to 3-24, 3-13 on the season.

Courtney Taotoai (Norwalk, CA) paced the Saints with 19 digs and Laura Kerrison handed out 28 assists. Chelsea Anthony (Pickens, SC) served up 4 aces and 10 digs. Ashley Hubbard (Temple, TX) had a strong all around performance with 6 kills, 3 aces and 5 blocks. Samantha Flannery (Acworth, GA) also added 6 kills and 3 blocks.

Limestone will return to action on Friday, hosting St. Andrews College on Friday night at 7:00 pm.
