LIMESTONE’S GADE NAMED CVAC TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Thomasville, N.C.--Limestone’s Alexandra Gade  has been selected as the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) women's tennis Player of the Week during week number six in the 2007 season. 

Gade helped the team to a 6-0 record during week with team wins over Barton, West Virginia State, Lenior-Rhyne, the University of District Columbia, North Greenville, and North Georgia College and State University. The Copehagen, Denmark-native posted a singles record of 5-1 with all of her wins coming in two sets.  She was also 6-2 at the top doubles position with partner Jennifer Snaider.
