LAURINBURG, N.C.—The No. 31 nationally ranked Saints men’s
tennis team and the No. 38 ranked Lady Saints tennis team both won all
nine of their matches for visiting Limestone College en route to a pair
of 9-0 Conference Carolinas victories over host St. Andrews Presbyterian
College at the Scotland County Tennis Complex on Friday afternoon.
The Lady Saints remain undefeated in Conference Carolinas action at
6-0 while the Saints men’s team improved to 4-1 in the league.
Both Limestone teams boast a 9-5 overall record.
Both Knights teams fell to 0-5 overall and 0-5 in the conference.
The St. Andrews women’s tennis team hosts conference rival Converse
College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. while both Knights teams entertain
conference rival Barton College on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. The Limestone
tennis teams visit Coker College (Hartsville, S.C.) tomorrow morning
starting at 11:00 a.m.
