Thomasville, N.C.- Limestone College’s Lee Cribb (7-5 overall, 4-0 conf.) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas women's tennis Player of the Week during week number five in the 2008 season.
Senior Lee Cribb (Spartanburg, S.C.) was 2-1 last week in both singles and doubles to lead her team to a 1-2 week. The Saints had an 8-1 win over Georgia Southwestern State. Cribb defeated Laura Snyder 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles. Cribb’s doubles team defeated Waters/Adams at the #3 doubles flight 8-2. In the Saints loss to No. 16 Florida Southern, Cribb was defeated 7-6, 5-7, and 10-7 at No. 6 singles, and 8-4 at No. 3 doubles. In her final match of the week, Cribb took Sarah Dinovi of Florida Tech 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6 singles and at doubles, Cribb and Griffin picked up another win 8-2. |
