N.C.-- Limestone College’s Christian Munn (1-3 overall, 0-0
conf.) has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas
men's tennis Player of the Week during week number two in the 2008 season.
Munn led his Saints to an 8-1 win over North Georgia College and State, picking
up a win over Grant Patrick at the #4 singles flight, 6-3, 6-3. Munn
and doubles partner Thomas Olliveier also picked up a win at the No.1
doubles flight, 8-5. Munn defeated Frederico Mendes of No.19-ranked
Augusta State 6-3, 7-5. Munn and Olliveier also won their No. 1 doubles
match, 8-6. Munn was 2-0 at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles for the
week.
