LIMESTONE TENNIS GETS WINS OVER NORTH GEORGIA COLLEGE AND STATE UNIVERSITY

DAHLONEGA, GA —The Limestone College men’s and women’s tennis teams recorded victories against North Georgia College and State University on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Saints (1-2 overall) picked up an 8-1 win over North Georgia College and State University. The Saints (1-2 overall) also got an 8-1 win over the NGCSU Saints.

The Lady Saints easily won all of their doubles matches. NGCSU’s only win came at the No. 5 singles flight.

On the men’s side, Limestone picked up wins at every singles flight, excluding the No. 6 flight, where Alex Fager(Gothomburg, Sweden) lost in straight sets. The men breezed through their doubles matches.

The Saints will host Augusta State at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Emmie Evans Rector Tennis Center in Gaffney.
