SIMPSONVILLE, S.C.-- Freshman pitcher Emily Wallace (Winchester,
Ky.) was named  to
the Conference Carolinas All-Conference Second Team as announced by
the conference office Thursday. Awards were presented at the Conference
Carolinas softball team banquet at the Conference Tournament Championships
hosted by Erskine College at Heritage Park in Simpsonville, S.C.
Wallace led the Lady Saints from the mound this season with 13 wins,
striking out 81 batters and only walking 16. Wallace had a 2.80 ERA
after pitching 190 innings this season.
