BOONE TO SWIM WITH LIMESTONE SAINTS

GAFFNEY, S.C.- Limestone College head swim coach Sean Weddell has announced that Lee Boone will join the Aqua Saints swim team for the upcoming season. Boone is a native of Savannah, Ga.

Boone competed with the Savannah Swim Team for 10 years and has swum at the high school level for the Savannah Arts Academy. In high school, he was a member of the Georgia State High School Swimming Relay in 2004-05 and competed in the 400 meter medley relay at the Georgia State USA Senior Swimming with the Savannah Swim Team.

In addition to swimming, Boone ran cross country for three years and track for a year. He is a member of the National Art Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout.

He is the son of Gordon and Betty Boone and will major in history at the College.
