SAINTS SOCCER GETS 1-0 WIN OVER ERSKINE

DUE WEST, S.C.— Limestone College edged Erskine College 1-0 in Conference Carolinas men’s soccer action on Wednesday night. Limestone improves to 5-3-1 in league play (9-4-1), as Erskine falls to 3-3-1 in the conference (6-8-2).

“I was proud of how the boys were able to keep their composure for the win,” said Limestone Head Coach Eric Alsop. “It was a tough match but we stayed focused.”

Dominic Casciato (Kent, England) scored the game-winning goal for the Saints halfway through the first period.

The Saints travel to Morrow, Ga., to face Clayton College and State University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
