GAFFNEY, S.C.—Lees-McRae’s Lee Squires (Sheffield, England) scored with only four seconds remaining to lift the No. 18 Bobcats to a 1-0 win over Limestone in men’s soccer action on Wednesday afternoon at Saints Field. Lees-McRae climbs to 6-1-1 overall and 2-1 in Conference Carolinas play as Limestone falls to 4-2-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference. After a scoreless first half, Lees-McRae had a chance to score early in the second. Lee Squires (Sheffield, England) lofted the ball over the Saints' goalkeeper, but Limestone defender Dominic Casciato (Kent, England) slid in for the save. Just when it seemed the Saints were heading for their third overtime match this season, Squires scored with only four seconds left to give the Bobcats their 1-0 victory. The Bobcats out-shot the Saints 6-4 and had a 5-4 edge on corner kicks. Lees-McRae goalkeeper Sean Paradise (North Point, Fla.) had one save, while Saint Ryan Robinson (Snellville, Ga.) had two.
