KRAAY NAMED LIMESTONE MEN’S SOCCER ASSISTANT COACH

GAFFNEY, S.C.—Limestone College Head Men’s Soccer Coach Eric Alsop has named Jesse Kraay as assistant coach. Kraay will work with the team’s goalkeepers and assist with all aspects of the Saints soccer program. He is a 2007 graduate of Erksine College.

“Jesse will be a great addition to our staff,” pointed out Alsop. “He is very familiar with the level of play we expect due to his years as a goalkeeper in our conference. He is very passionate about coaching and I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Kraay was a member of Erskine’s soccer team for four seasons, and was Fleet’s starting goalkeeper. He was ranked in the top 10 in NCAA Division II as a sophomore in saves per game, and was also team captain.

He served as the assistant boys’ varsity coach at Catalina Foothills High School in Tuscon, Ariz., and was the head junior varsity coach for the boys’ squad. Kraay has also worked at summer soccer camps at the University of Central Florida and West Point.
