SAINTS LACROSSE RATED NO. 7 IN PRE-SEASON NATIONAL RANKINGS

The Limestone College men’s lacrosse team is ranked No. 7 in the Inside Lacrosse and Face-Off NCAA Division II Pre-Season Rankings for the 2007 season. Defending national champion LeMoyne topped the list after finishing last season with a perfect 18-0 record.

Mercyhurst is ranked at No. 2, Dowling is No. 3, New York Tech is fourth, and C.W. Post is No. 5.

Limestone, which finished last season with an 11-7 record, will face two of the ranked teams in 2007. The Saints will play No. 6 Adelphi on March 10 in Arnold, Md., at Broadneck High School and will take on No. 10 Bryant on April 29 at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md.

Queens University of Charlotte is the only other Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference team included in the ratings as the Royals are ranked ninth.
