NO. 8 LIMESTONE LACROSSE PULLS AWAY FOR 14-7 WIN OVER WHEELING JESUIT

WHEELING, W. Va.—Limestone’s Justin Haworth (Deer Park, N.Y.) scored seven goals to lead the No. 8 Saints to a 14-7 win over Wheeling Jesuit on Sunday afternoon. Limestone improves to 7-1 overall as the Cardinals fall to 3-2.

It was a tight game in the first half, as the Saints held a narrow 6-4 lead over Wheeling Jesuit. Limestone pulled away in the second half, outscoring the hosts 8-3.

Limestone’s Allen Vaughn (Skaneatdes, N.Y) tallied three goals and an assist, while Brock Spilker (Pasadena, Md.), Ryan Collins (Black River, N.Y.) and Jason Brammall (Greensborough, Australia) also scored. Numerous players recorded assists.

Limestone travels to Wingate, N.C., to play Wingate University on Saturday, March 31 at 2 p.m.
