LIMESTONE MEN’S LACROSSE RATED NO. 6 IN PRE-SEASON POLL

The Limestone College men’s lacrosse team is ranked No. 6 in the 2007 Pre-Season National Poll released by Lacrosse magazine on Wednesday.   

Defending NCAA Division II National Champion LeMoyne tops the list at No. 1, while Dowling is No. 2. New York Tech is ranked third while Mercyhurst is fourth and C.W. Post is fifth.

Limestone, which finished last season with an 11-7 record, will face three of the ranked teams in 2007. The Saints will play No. 7 Adelphi on March 10 in Arnold, Md., at Broadneck High School and will take on No. 8 Bryant on April 29 at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. Limestone will hosts No. 9 St. Andrews on April 7.

The ratings are compiled by Lacrosse magazine staff with consultations from coaches.
